Ewing Development

Welcome!

Josh Cowman - Friday, April 11, 2014

Welcome to our new website, we hope you find it informative and easy to navigate. In an effort to stay connected with you, we will be regularly updating this blog page with news that we feel will be useful to you. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any questions, or if you have suggestions on how we may better serve you. For the purposes of this first post, we’d like to catch you up on what we have been up to recently as a company.

Over the past several months, ELDS transformed into Ewing Development. Our business has grown and evolved, and we felt it was time that we invest in our brand, or public face, to reflect that. The team you have come to know at ELDS is still very much intact, and we will be offering the same great service that we have gained a reputation for.  However, now we can do so with a shiny new website and logo. We hope you like it.

As you may or may not be aware, senior housing development has been and continues to be a large part of the business we do at Ewing. We’ve been fortunate to be on the forefront of an emerging form of senior housing, the cooperative lifestyle. You may be familiar with a few of the properties we’ve developed to provide seniors a better alternative of living: Vintage Hills Cooperative at Prairie Trail in Ankeny, Vintage Hills Cooperative of Indianola and Vintage Park Cooperative of Beaverdale.

Because of the overwhelmingly positive response by seniors in Iowa to these properties, we felt it was also time to refresh the brand and public face of this business model as well. Nothing is changing about the Vintage properties you know and have come to call home, but as we expand and continue to grow into new markets to offer seniors throughout the Midwest the same exciting opportunity, you will see us simply as Vintage Cooperatives.  Much like Ewing Development, the same team of outstanding and dedicated people is in place at Vintage Cooperatives, they may just have a new business card to hand you next time you see them around.

Going forward, the blog page on this site will be dedicated specifically to news from Ewing Development. If you have any interest, we encourage you to visit the Vintage Cooperatives site to get acclimated to our new look and feel, and to catch up on news from the other side of our business.

Thank you for your interest and support of all the work that we do. We appreciate the individuals we work with and work for, and we’re excited to continue serving you in the future.
